The rumors of our deaths have been greatly exaggerated. The horrors we’ve faced. Oh, the horrors! Well, in actuality, we weren’t close to death, although at times it may have felt like it. No actual horrors to speak of, either. But you can count on the fact that we have missed you! Oh yes, indeed we have.

Unfortunately, school took priority over almost everything else, including sleep, most of the time. The way the world turns, I suppose. Thankfully, we’re done with that! And after a restful two months, we’re back in the game. Yes, both Ling and I are now productive and valuable members of society, ready to tackle the important socio-economic issues of modern times. With comics. On the internet.

Worry not! One day history books will see the web comiceers as visionary pioneers of the future.

I apologize for our downtime a little while back. But some people just don’t understand genius when they see it. How a fully mobile server platform isn’t hailed as a scientific breakthrough worthy of a Nobel prize, I will never know. I had to put everything back where I found it, because apparently a mobile platform is not ideal for hosting websites. Who knew? In actuality, our web host is flighty. I can’t really offer any other explanation aside from “we get hosting for free and can’t really complain about it too much.” Sad face indeed.

I’m hoping to be able to share exciting new things about Fungasm in the coming weeks and months, but I’ll keep hush until I can actually follow through on things I set out to do prior, like retooling the web site.

Of course, none of this is made easier by the fact that I’ll be moving across the country, will need to find one of these things called jobs, and be generally trying to figure out what I’m doing with my life. I’m still very unsure of how to feel about being done as a student. Technically, I’ve been a fully legal adult for at least a year. But it never feels like that.

The entire situation is a little scary and very alien.
